We are surrounded by information, and some might even call it overload.I wanted to create
a personal dashboard project where the technology shows us all the essential pieces of information
at a glance,and we can quickly navigate through the noise to get to what we really want.
And the activity i observed from users was to retrieve the upcoming health appointment details of the
patient all in one glance.It lets people to see all the consolidated information of the patient like upcoming
appointment details,prescription details, messages,care members attached ,list of doctors,reason for the visit
,date and time of appointments, email/text alerts etc like a dashboard.
The potential users i choose to interview where people who where different in terms of usages of the technology
and how much they planned their life.
Solidifying the needs based on what is observed:
1.Needs to be simple, minimalist,uncomplicated to use.
2.Needs to be able to customize(modify/change/cancel) upcoming
appointment.
3.Needs to be able to retrieve all the appointment information on
a single click.
4.Needs to provide common user experience across platforms.
5.Needs to be compatible in any user working environment.
6.Needs to provide email/text alert and notification for appointment.
7.Needs to be able to communicate and receive information from the
doctors about the appointment.
8.Information provided needs to be cohesive.
A storyboard is a comic-strip-like set of drawings about what your
interface does and how it is used to accomplish tasks in a real usage
scenario.A good storyboard should clearly demonstrate who the user
is, the usage situation, and the user's motivations for using the interface
and what user can accomplish with your interface.
Rapid interactive prototype helps focus on the concepts, and saves you from
wasting hours twiddling pixels.This helps you to work with navigation,layouts,
menu options,application structure and many more making quick changes as u
go.
Making 2 rapid prototype helps u think different solutions and different ideas.
And then choose the best one or a combination of both.
Under startbuilding we will be using the combination of both
the rapid prototype and will be creating a fully functional prototype.
Under user testing the users are given the task list,user evaltion form,consent form,
qutionaire,experimental protocola and experimenter notes to do the task and that
their solutions meets the needs that where identified during the assignment 1.
After this all the important feedbacks are considered for the redsign.

Paper Prototying
Paper prototyping is a technique that allows you to create and test user interfaces
quickly and cheaply. It's easier to change a prototypeand helps to improve the final
product
